Motorola has revealed when the Moto Buds 2 will be available in India. The true wireless stereo earbuds will arrive in the country this week, alongside the Moto Buds 2 Plus model, which was released in India in April. Both sets of earbuds were first introduced at the MWC 2026 event in Barcelona in March. The Indian version of the earbuds is anticipated to have features similar to those of the global version, such as long battery life, support for high-quality audio codecs, and a dual-driver configuration. In a post on X, Motorola India confirmed that the Moto Buds 2 will be launched in the country on May 19. This is also the day when the Moto G37 and G37 Power smartphones will be launched in India. The teaser indicates that the earbuds will come with 11mm and 6mm drivers to enhance bass and provide clearer high frequencies. The Moto Buds 2 were first introduced globally in March, featuring support for LHDC and Spatial Audio to offer a premium and immersive listening experience. These earbuds are reported to have dynamic active noise cancellation capabilities of up to 55dB, adjusting the noise reduction based on the environment. They also come with Smart Transparency Mode, allowing outside sounds to come through when necessary.

For making voice calls, the Moto Buds 2 are equipped with six microphones that include Environmental Noise Cancellation. Motorola claims this setup enhances call quality in loud environments and windy conditions. The earbuds also include a low-latency gaming mode and support Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity. They allow users to connect to two devices at the same time. Other features of the Moto Buds 2 are wear detection, customizable touch controls, adjustable EQ settings with Bass Boost, a "Ring My Buds" function, voice assistant compatibility, Audio Share, and Moto AI integration. They have an IP54 rating, meaning they are protected against dust and splashes. Each earbud comes with a 62mAh battery, and Motorola states they can provide up to 11 hours of playback on a full charge, reaching up to 48 hours when using the charging case, which has a 520mAh battery. Some promotional material mentions up to 10 hours of use per charge and a total battery life of up to 53 hours. Fast charging is available, with a 10-minute charge offering up to three hours of playback. The pricing for the Moto Buds 2 in India has not been disclosed yet. In the UK, they are priced at GBP 70, which is about Rs. 8,500. However, the price in India is expected to be lower since the Moto Buds 2 Plus was launched at Rs. 5,999.
