The ground breaking ceremony will commence at 12: 30 pm on August 5. Soil from 55 different temples sent to Ayodhya for laying the foundation for Ram Temple.

Astrologers have finalized the date and time of laying foundation to the construction of Ram Temple, the most awaited event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the ground breaking ceremony which kick starts the construction of this prestigious project.

Soil sent from 11 religious places will be used in the ceremony on August 5 to lay the foundation. All the top BJP leaders and ministers will be attending the event.

However, according to Swami Swaroopanand Jyotishpeet, the time and the date of the ground breaking ceremony are not auspicious and he has questioned about the same to BJP leaders.

VHP working president, Alok Kumar has however, said that the time and date of the puja have been set after consulting reputed priests and astrologers from Varanasi and Ayodhya.

Reportedly, Swami Govinddev Giriji Maharaj of Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teertha Trust from Pune took the lead in the whole process and had set the schedule as per suggestions from various priests.

Govindji held consultations with various priests and astrologers who suggested the time on August 5 as auspicious and advisable.

He also claimed that Swami Swaroopanand ji had been at odds with them all the time and does not support any of their initiatives.

However, the decision was taken by Govindji and had also informed PM Narendra Modi about this.

The Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Teertha Trust has invited all the prominent leaders like L. K Advani, M M Joshi, Kalyan Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, Defence minister Rajnath Singh, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagawat and Amit Shah among many other prominent BJP leaders for the ground breaking ceremony at Ayodhya.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis and pandemic becoming grave than ever, the trust has decided to invite only limited members to the event of Ram Mandir construction ensuring social distancing measures during the ceremony. The event will also be telecasted LIVE and screens will be installed at Ayodhya for devotees to watch.

Ahead of the mega ground breaking ceremony for the temple, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to visit Ayodhya to meet officials and religious leaders over preparations for the August 5 ceremony.

Recently, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and issued a one-page statement to India. Responding to the statement, external affairs ministry called the statement to be absurd.
