The end of legendary Manna Dey ( Photo 2 of 3 )

His real name was Prabodh Chandra Dey.  He was born May 1, 1919 at Kolkata. He became popular with his nick name Manna. He lost his wife last year who died of cancer.  He is survived by two daughters. Manna Dey was honored for his contribution to the Indian Cinema with Dada Saheb Phalke Award in 2007. He was awarded Padmashree in 1971 and Padmabhushan in 2005.
