Los Angeles:
A 3-month-old infant has been killed after to she was mauled by a dog in Sherman Oaks home, Los Angeles on Saturday. The onslaught happened when infant’s grandmother had concisely stepped out to get a bottle.
The infant was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where authorities subsequently announced her death due to intense injuries.
“There were three dogs in the home and police did not know which one mauled the infant,” said Stacy Ball, Los Angeles Police Services Officer.
Animal control officers took Rottweiler, a Labrador and a Terrier into custody.
“The family is extremely in distraught and that next Sunday would have been the first Mother’s Day for the infant’s mom,” said Lillian Carranza, Los Angeles Police Capt.
