Los Angeles city officials and league have declared that the 2018 NBA All- Star Game will be held at Staples center in Los Angeles. It is the third time that the event is being hosted at the Staples center. Los Angeles will mark the sixth time for hosting the All- Star game.
New York city hosted the All-Star game for five times earlier, both the counties of Boston and Philadelphia hosted for four times. In the year of 2017, NBA All-Star Game will be held in Charlotte.
NBA All- Star Game in Los Angeles is scheduled for Sunday, 18 February 2018. NBA commissioner Adam Silver said, “Los Angeles is famous in providing first-class hospitality and entertainment, and it makes the exact host for the players of basketball. Los Angeles city considered as the home to most of the passionate basketball fans, as the city adds some Extra ordinary facilities, where it includes Staples center and L.A. Live.”
The NBA All- Star Game took place in the years of 2004 and 2011 at Staple center. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said, "We couldn't be more excited to see the All-Star Game coming back." Both the commissioner and Garcetti want to move the game permanently from the city but they Certainly ready for the task. An IngleWood native Lakers coach Byron Scott, is expecting that All- Star game should be played every year in the city. He said Los Angeles is the greatest city in the world.
