General Motors has made three new recalls on Monday that would mean almost 1.5 million vehicles will be recalled. The company's latest 3 recalls are non-related to ignition switch that was issued last month.
The cost of the four recalls would amount to $300 million for the big automaker.
GM's recent recalls follows a request for a comprehensive internal safety review by (CEO) Mary Barra after the recall made over ignition switch.
Ignition switch recall have been reportedly taken after twelve deaths and 31 crashes were linked to the accidents. Almost 1.62 million vehicles were recalled worldwide last month over the issue of ignition switch. The recall also led to federal investigations as to why the recall took so long when the problem featured in 2001 itself.
The three new recalls are related to - seat-mounted side airbags, plug in the brake system and material covering the passenger-side air bag in Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana commercial vans.
