Akhil Akkineni’s Agent film is all set to release on the 28th of April. This is the first pan-Indian film of Akhil in Surender Reddy's direction and it is produced by AK Entertainments. Akhil will be seen as a RAW agent in the film and Mammootty will be seen as the RAW chief. The action thriller is all set to thrill audiences this summer. Akhil worked for months to get the beast look and his stylish look along with the action stunts are the expected highlights of the film.

The released songs gained popularity and Tamil composer Hiphop Thamiza worked on the album. The makers are planning back-to-back promotions. They have a huge press meet set up today and on the 15th of April there will be a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad. Now three songs and a teaser are out from the movie. The trailer is expected to be out next week. Sakshi Vaidya is the female actress and Hip Hop Tamizha is the music director. Agent is the costliest film made in Akhil's career.
