Goddess Parvati is the hindu goddess of love, fertility and devotion. Sheis the wife of Lord Shiva and mother of Ganesh and Kartikeya. She is often reffered to as the Divine Mother. There are 10 different forms of Goddess parvati and these are known as to be a representation of her power and knowledge. These ten different forms are jointly known as Dasamahavidyas and each one of them is a form she undertook to destroy evil and bless the devotees. Listed below are the different forms of goddess Parvati

1.  Kali
Sheis thefirst form of Goddess Parvati and is known as the destroyer and goddess of time

2.  Tara
She is known to represent the power of golden embryo.

3. Sodasi
The third form of the goddess represents perfection and fullness.

4.  Vidya Bhuvaneswari
She represents the forces of the material world.

5.  Bhairavi
She is represented by desires and temptation which often leads to destruction and death.

6. Vidya Chinnamasta
The sixth form of Goddess parvati is known to represent  the created world

7. Dhumavati
The seventh form represents the world destroyed by fire.

8. Vidya Bagala
She represents the negative aspect of any individual

9. Matangi
The power of denomination is represented by the ninth form of Goddess parvati

10. Vidya Kamala
She is said to be goddess of fortune
