IndiGo announced on Tuesday that it has canceled flights going to and coming from several cities in Central Asia, such as Almaty, Baku, and Tashkent, along with Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, until February 11, 2026, due to increasing issues in Iran. The airline mentioned that they made this choice to ensure the safety of their passengers and crew members, saying it was a careful and forward-thinking measure. "Considering the latest situations regarding Iran, we have made some changes to the flight schedule. Our main focus is on the safety of our customers and crew, so we are being careful and proactive," IndiGo expressed in a statement. In a travel notice, IndiGo mentioned that they have adjusted their flight schedule and that they will keep checking the situation as it changes.

Passengers who are affected can look into alternative travel options or request a complete refund through the airline's website, according to IndiGo. The airline also mentioned that any new updates will be shared promptly. "As things continue to change, we are monitoring flight operations closely, and we will make sure to inform you about any new updates or changes quickly. We thank you for your patience and understanding," IndiGo added. On Sunday, the airline had already canceled flights from Delhi to Tbilisi and from Mumbai to Almaty that were set for January 25.
