The leaders of NATO declared that China is posing a real threat for the security of the globe. NATO said that they are worried about China developing nuclear missiles. NATO during the summit said that the goals of China are assertive. NATO called Beijing to uphold its international commitments and be responsible considering the international security. The statement came after American President Joe Biden came out to speak against China across the global platform G7 Summitt. Responding to this, Beijing accused NATO for exaggerating the threat from China. The angry response wanted NATO to view the development activities rationally and stop exaggerating the forms of threat theory.

The military tensions increased between China and India over the past one year. China's military budget is the second largest in the world after USA and this has been increased by 6.8 percent in 2021. Beijing is also spending a bomb on the space programme to compete with Russia and the United States. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the allies will seek the cooperation with China about the global issues. G7 leaders slammed China about their activities in Hong Kong. USA President Joe Biden wanted China to be more responsible on human rights internationally.
