The list of Forbes Billionaires for the year 2021 is announced and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is on the top for the fourth consecutive year. The list of billionaires included 2755 businessmen and others. The billionaires are worth 13.1 trillion USD in total which is equal to Rs 9,63,22,335 crores. Forbes' Chief Content Officer Randall Lane said that the rich continued to be richer and very very richer. Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk took up the second slot and he was in the 31st place last year. Bernard Arnault, chief executive of luxury goods firm LVMH, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg are in the next three slots.

Businessman Warren Buffet for the first time missed the top five from the last two decades. There are 493 newcomers in Forbes this year. Whitney Wolfe Herd, chief executive of the dating app Bumble is also named in Forbes. Bumble went into public this year. Last year, the total net worth of all the billionaires on the list was 8 trillion USD. 1975 self-made billionaires made it to the list this year and there are 328 billionaires this year and the number was 241 last year. Asia Pacific has the most number of billionaires and the number stands at 1149. USA is in second with 724 billionaires and Europe stands next with 628 billionaires.
