Five people suspected to be involved in Garissa massacre have been taken in police custody.
They have been charged of the attack at a university campus in Garissa that has left atleast 150 people dead.
The internal security said, some of the suspects were detained while trying to flee to neighboring Somalia.
The Kenyan government believes Mohamed Dulyadin who has several aliases is the mastermind behind Garissa University attack.
The attackers are believed belonging to Al-Shabab group. This group has staged numerous attacks in Kenya, this attack being the bloodiest of all.
Previously they had attacked Nairobi’s Westgate shopping center in 2013 where at least 68 people were killed.

The demised one’s are yet to be identified. The bodies have been flown to Nairobi for identification due to insufficiency at local mortuaries and most of the students killed came from other parts of the country.
Garissa’s security has come under fire for not able to handle the attack, leaving a bloody violence.
It has come to notice that only two guards were on duty on the dreadful day. The university had already been warned of likely attacks by officials.
As per a witness, the gunman was well known of the place.
