People Democratic Party (PDP) is in talk with BJP for government formation in Jammu and Kashmir. PDP which has secured 28 seats in Kashmir has released 11-points list of demands to the BJP.

The 11-points list includes negotiation with the Hurriyat and "citizenship rights for displaced Hindus from Pakistan, settled in Jammu since 1947," which can  make any tie-up between the BJP and PDP in J&K an uneasy one.

According to a report, PDP has also demanded status quo on Article 370 and the removal of Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to meet PDP leader Mufti Mohammad Sayed in the next few days, says sources. It is also believed that a final decision on the matters will be taken in that meeting.

Soon after the J&K results started coming in, BJP president Amit Shah had said, "All options are open for us, BJP will decide on how other parties respond or initiate."

PDP had got maximum seat in the J&K assembly elections held two months ago, while BJP close behind.
