Eldest son of Hinduja Group of Companies Co- Chairman Gopichand Hinduja, Sanjay Hinduja married his girlfriend Anusuya Matani on Thursday. The Big fat wedding took place at Jagmandir Island Palace in Udaipur.  

The three day celebration which kicked off on 10th February saw many A-list celebrities which included international celebrities Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Scherzinger, actors Preity Zinta and Malaika Arora khan, Rashmi Nigam, actor Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep, designer Manish Malhotra.

The highlight of the show was the Sangeet hosted on February 10th at Taj Lake Palace with  Nicole Scherzinger performing on “Pussycat Dolls fame” alongside with Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.

This is the first marriage of Sanjay Hinduja and the second for Anusuya, who is the daughter of Indu and Manu Mahtani and sister of fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. Anusuya has a 20-year- old son from her previous marriage.

The bride, Anu Mahatani and the groom, Sanjay wore Manish’s designer dresses for the Sangeet.

The celebrations were underway at the Hinduja household since last week. The pre-wedding reception was held on February 6th, 2015 at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. A large number of bigshots from Bollywood, business world and politics made their presence heavily felt at the reception.

Every time a big fat wedding happens for the elites, lots of unnecessary expenditure was done for showing off their status and the celebrations extends to so many days, mostly disturbing the neighbourhood. Instead of keeping the marriage short and simple, it is celebrated like a big festival in which will usually carry on for 7 days. The end result only is the wastage of huge quantity of food and litters all over. While the poor in the neighbourhood, strives for one meal. These elites flew in celebrities to perform on the wedding day by spending heavenly amounts but is not bothered about the poor in the neighbourhood whose blessing are more valuable than the celebrities performance for money.
