JP Dutta is all set to set the big screen ablaze with the sequel of his biggest blockbuster - Border. And if the speculations are anything to go by, the director plan to repeat the lead cast of his 1997 hit.
After successfully roping in Sunny Deol for Border 2, filmmaker JP Dutta has managed to get a nod from Suneil Shetty too.
Talking about casting Suneil, he said, "I can't think of making a film without Suniel. We share a great comfort level."
However, the director has dropped Akshaye Khanna from the list.

"I thought of casting Akshaye but I realized that I wouldn't have a role which would justify his talent," then added, "For reasons best known to him, he has been on a self-imposed exile,” said Dutta.
When asked what inspired him to come up with a sequel of Border after 16 long years, he said, "I felt like making another war film. I was going through the history of armed forces and the Battle of Shakargarh Bulge caught my imagination. I felt it was a story that needed to be told on celluloid."
While the 1997 film was inspired by the Longewala battle of 1971, the sequel movie will be based on the battle of Shakargarh Bulge, that took place during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
