According to a report out on Wednesday, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got married in a civil ceremony at his West Hollywood home.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor, 51, and his "The Rum Diary" co-star, 28, met on set in 2011, started dating in 2012 and got engaged early last year. Their wedding took place on an island he owns in the Bahamas, sources said. It is believed that one of the islands, six beaches is- or at least, named after Depp's former partner, Vanessa Paradis.  

John Christopher "Johnny" Depp II, born on born June 9, 1963 rose to fame in 1980’s.He became teen idol from the television series” 21JumpStreet”. Later he went on to become actor, producer, and musician. He won the Golden Globe Award, People’s Choice Award, and Star Guild Award for various categories.

"Sleepy Hollow", "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Alice in Wonderland", and “Rango” are some of his blockbuster movies. The sequels of “Pirates of the Caribbean” made him famous as Captain Jack Sparrow.

While his professional life was roller coaster ride, his previous marriages was a failure. Depp was married to Lori Anne Allison on December 20, 1983, until their divorce in 1985.He later got engaged to Jennifer grey and Sherilyn fenn in late 1980’s, before proposing to his Edward “Scissorhands” co-star Winona Ryde. In 1998 he dated British supermodel Kate Moss for four years till, Depp began a relationship with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis.
