JSW MG Motor India has recently excited fans with sneak peeks into a refreshed version of the Windsor EV. The moment has arrived, as the company has officially unveiled the Windsor EV Pro in India. This new variant is being offered at a promotional price of Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the initial 8,000 buyers. Notable enhancements have been made compared to the standard model, including upgrades in features and modifications to the powertrain. Let’s delve into what this new electric vehicle has to offer.
At the forefront, the standout aspect of the MG Windsor Pro is its larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, which claims an impressive range of 449 km on a single charge—surpassing the 332 km range provided by the standard model's 38 kWh battery. Meanwhile, the vehicle's power specifications remain unchanged, retaining an electric motor capable of producing 136 hp and 200 Nm of torque, directing power to the front wheels for propulsion.

In terms of design continuity, the MG Windsor EV keeps its overall appearance, although there are some updates to note. For example, the car is now equipped with a new alloy wheel design, and the tailgate includes an "ADAS" badge. Additionally, the vehicle is offered in fresh color options such as Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.
The interior of the Windsor EV Pro has also been revamped. Unlike the previous model's dark upholstery, this version boasts a lighter color scheme. The feature set has expanded as well, now including a powered tailgate and Level 2 ADAS capabilities, such as traffic jam assist and adaptive cruise control—features that were lacking in the earlier version.
Furthermore, the MG Windsor EV Pro offers vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle capabilities, allowing users to power various devices with the vehicle's energy through the V2L function, while the V2V feature facilitates energy sharing between compatible vehicles.
