Renowned actor Dharmendra was released from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday morning after spending several days receiving treatment. The 89-year-old celebrity, fondly known as Bollywood’s He-Man, had been admitted for medical care and was placed in the ICU on November 10. On November 11, his spouse, Hema Malini, along with their daughter, Esha Deol, reported that he is stable and on the mend. Today, the doctors confirmed that his family took him home. Supporters and members of the film industry continue to send prayers and hopes for his full recovery. The official statement from the Deol family stated, "Mr. Dharmendra has left the hospital and will carry on recovering at home. We politely ask the media and the public to stop any further speculation and to honor his and the family’s privacy during this period. We thank everyone for their love, prayers, and kind thoughts for his ongoing recovery, health, and longevity. Please respect him as he cares for you."
Film producer and director Guddu Dhanoa was photographed leaving Dharmendra's residence after visiting him. He informed the press, "All I can share is that he is doing well. His health is getting better." Dharmendra will now receive care at home following his discharge on November 12, 2025. Dr. Pratit Samdani provided a health update on the esteemed actor outside Breach Candy Hospital. Dharmendra left the hospital in an ambulance that was seen parked outside. The veteran actor's supporters are hoping for his swift recovery.
